Ice skating fun for everyone. This is the motto of the famous ice skating rink in Stuttgart, which delights countless ice skating fans every year with offers such as ice skating, ice hockey and ice disco. In summer, the hall is used by inline skaters and roller skaters. In short, an important place where young and old can enjoy themselves and engage in sporting activities. The event hall was extensively renovated in 2011.

The next step towards sustainability will now follow in spring 2024: in order to make the enormous energy consumption of this building more energy-efficient, a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 280 kWp was installed in March - in line with the energy transition. As the ice rink cannot bear the additional weight of a conventional PV system, the decision was made to use the innovative DAS Energy PV modules, which can be glued on directly without a substructure and weigh just 3.8 kg/m² .
